Upskilling and Specialising as an Infant-Parent Psychotherapist

At Au Milieu, we are passionate about enhancing support for parents and babies during the critical first 1,001 days of life. We are excited to offer specialised training designed for psychotherapists who are eager to upskill and specialise in Infant-Parent Psychotherapy.

Our comprehensive programme equips psychotherapists with advanced skills to support and strengthen the vital parent-infant relationship, particularly in challenging circumstances. By specialising in this field, you will be at the forefront of preventing intergenerational trauma and fostering nurturing environments for both parents and their babies.

Our training aligns with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) objectives, including their ambitious goal to establish 400 community-based infant-parent relationship centres over the next two years. This initiative highlights the growing need for skilled professionals in this critical area.

We invite you to explore our training programme and discover how you can contribute to this important field. Attend our upcoming open days to learn more about our courses and meet our dedicated team:

Thursday, 19th September – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Thursday, 17th October – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Saturday, 16th November – 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

These sessions will be held at Wimbledon Therapy Rooms.
